21 Days Left

Until we are married!

BAM!

Yeah, super exited.

So many great things have happened recently!

Great thing numero uno:

Just last week was my bridal shower and it turned out so well.

The Manibog family was so kind letting

us have it at their house.

Shanna planned amazing games that were so humorous!

I received lots of great presents, mostly kitchen stuff.

Jeez, these people all know how

I don't know how to cook.

I even got a cook book that promises each

recipe contained within is only five ingredients or less!

Maybe I will be a good little cooking wife with meals

that have five ingredients or less.

Hoozah!

Great thing numero dos:

School is almost at an end, only three more weeks.

I'm sooo happy about that. So is Jesus.

He doesn't like sharing me with my homework.

Great thing numero tres:

I FINALLY got my wedding dress!

Shoot, it was only 10 weeks late.

Stupid dress shop. But I got it and I love it!

I also found a great hair stylist and I am in love

with the hair color she gave me.

I also love the wedding hairdo she did.

Great thing numero quatro:

Jesus found a great dentist that he ADORES.

He went there for a tooth problem (obviously),

and the dentist, Brian Royle,

fixed the problem. Jesus is going to go to him forever now.

Great thing numero cinco:

I finished my medical class!

It wasn't hard, but it took so much time,

so I am so relieved to have it done and over with.

Great thing numero seis:

Jesus bought me a guinea pig!

We named her Sasha and I LOVE her.

I feel like such a little kid. But I can't help it!

Great thing numero seven:

I'M GETTING MARRIED! IN 21 DAYS!

New Baby!!

Excite!!!!

The nice stork flying in the blue sky

dropped off my new nephew to my brother Brian and his girlfriend Liz!

He is 7 pounds, 10 ounces, and 18 inches long.

What a cutie!

His name is Vaughn Tyler Crooks.

I didn't like the name at first, but after seeing him

and holding I think the name fits.

I never imagined my brother having a baby.

I always pictured him being an eternal bachelor,

like Charlie from Two and a Half Men.

However, I am so pleased I was wrong!

Little Vaughn already has me obsessed with him.

I just can't get enough of him!

Now many people think that since I am so obsessed

with my little baby nephew that I will want

to have a little kiddo after Jesus and I are married,

but no!

Haha I love little kids, but I like being able to hand them back

to their parents when they start crying/screaming/kicking/etc.

And when I finally have a kid it's not like I can just give it away...

that seems a bit neglectful.

Anyway, this week has been amazing!

We got our apartment,

I've spent lots of time with Vaughn,

I finished an essay for my class,

and we got a new bed! Delight!

I love life!

And only 48 more days!

Moved in!!

Yay for excitement!

Jesus and I got our apartment on Wednesday

and we have been working hard on moving everything in.

It's a little more than 900 square feet,

two bedroom, one bathroom,

and only $650.

It's pretty awesome!

It is so pretty on the inside,

all the walls are white, but we have colorful furniture

to add color to the room.

It has all new carpets and the walls were repainted

so it smells so nice and fresh!

So many people have been so nice and generous in giving us

furniture, food, food storage, money for a new bed,

and some kitchen ware.

I love nice people.

However, we still don't have anything to cook with!

Hahaha so we borrow my mothers pots and pans.

But the best part?

The NEW bed!!!! I'm more excited to get married

because then I can sleep on the bed!

It is a queen size tempurpedic amazing bed.

Soooo comfortable!!

Wedding plans are coming along well

except that the evil bridal shop still doesn't

have my dress. Jerks.

And Jesus still doesn't have a wedding band.

Oops!

But everything is fine and dandy!

I'm so excited! Only 49 days left!
